Story
On 31st July 2020, the village of Duxford witnessed a terrible fire that consumed Duxford Community Primary School, the Preschool and DX Club.
On behalf of the Governing Board of Duxford Community Primary School, I would like to take this opportunity to ask for donations, no matter how small, towards our fundraising efforts to rebuild our wonderful school.
Having grown up in Duxford, and being a former pupil myself, Duxford Community Primary School will forever hold a fondness in my heart. Let us not let the fire that ravaged our memories, both new and old, defeat us.
Please donate as much as you can to help us make Duxford Community Primary School, it’s Preschool and DX Club return even stronger. We shall use the funds to replace resources lost in the fire.

4 years agoOur children’s world was turned upside down this year and most of them haven’t been to school since March. The school now looks like a very different place to the one they were last in. Your generosity will help replace resources and will also support their wellbeing. Your sincere good wishes bring comfort and strength to staff from the school, pre-school and DX after school club.
