6 years ago park methodist church which was built in the 1880,s the church closed due to a dwindling congragation and increasing repair and fuel costs 2 years after the church coosed myself and a friend purchased it and took on a £100k renovation. The church was transformed into an auction house were local people would come to buy and also sell their goods to date we have regustered over 4000 customers in 3 yrs

over the years we had many fund raising events for many different charities, football clubs and sponsorships.

however recently we have been devastated by a fure that swept through the church leaving only a bare shell over the last few days we have been inidated by local and worldwide people offering help and support many of which had asked to make a financial payment we have been over rawed by the response so have decided to set up this page to raise funds to rebuild the church to its former glory.

I am 100% committed to rebuilding this church again, 4 years ago when we bought it we were up against developers who wanted to knock the church down and build 10 flats in its place, thankfully the church decided to sell it to us. It took us 12 months to gt it opened working 7 days a week. We now find ourselves in the same position. I am ready to go again and get this church back to its original state. its been here for 140 years,,it is a major landmark to jarrow..
