Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Established in 2013, the Recovery Festival is a Free Event which aims to celebrate recovery from problematic alcohol and drug use by bringing together recovery-based communities from across the South-West; this includes peer-led community groups, their family and friends, and also a wide range of drug and alcohol treatment service providers.
"Hear inspiring true stories from the real people behind the substances; join us for music, poetry, complimentary food and find out how to get the right support for you or someone you care about."
Every penny that you choose to donate through this page will be used to help fund the overall running costs of this event; £4000 was successfully raised in support of the Recovery Festival 2014. This incredible achievement, along with the tireless commitment and dedication of volunteers and service staff alike, meant that over 500 people were able to benefit from and enjoy this celebration of recovery from addiction, and all that can be achieved from it.
