I've raised £800 to Red Diamonds Bracknell and Wokingham Disabled Sports Club.

Hello :) I am single parent to Michael who has a severe learning difficulty and is Autistic. I spend time supporting Michael with day to day life and inclusion within the community; as well as working full time as Personal Assistant. I have enjoyed training for the half marathon and have joined Bracknell Forest Running Club. So life is busy but loads of fun! I enjoy seeing our friends from Red Diamonds each Sunday and swimming a few lengths at the club - keeping fit is important to me as well as our lovely black cat "Cassie".
On the 13th May, I will be running the Bracknell Half Marathon in aid of Red Diamond Bracknell & Wokingham Sports Club for the disabled; a charity that is close to mine and my son's hearts.
Red Diamond supports people and families living with disabilities in Bracknell & Wokingham. They have given my son Michael (who has a severe learning difficulty and is on the autistic spectrum) and many others the opportunity to participate and compete in different sports and activity's they may otherwise not have had a chance to do. Red Diamond are a small local charity, managed by a dedicated team of people who over many years have been able to give so much happiness and support to a huge number of people.
The money raised will make a big contribution to the club and assist them with funding transport & equipment needed to participate and host disabled games with other similar clubs in the South of England and also provide outings for the disabled members and their families.
The Red Diamond Club meets on Sundays at Bracknell Leisure Centre from 6pm to 7pm for swimming and table tennis and social afterwards. To get involved email isabelmattick@aol.com or call Isabel on 01344 420 997.
Thank you for your support!
