Story
The Red Box Project UK is a local, community run campaign with the aim of lessening the impact of #periodpoverty !! Red Box Cheltenham was started by myself (Vic) in the summer; but has recently received the support of Scarlett Curtis (author of Feminists Don’t Wear Pink - and other lies) meaning that we have grown significantly in a short space of time! The Red Box Project are here to put together boxes of sanitary products for local schools/colleges etc. so that young girls and women are able to access the products for free... and free of worry or embarrassment. 1 in 10 girls miss valuable school time due to their cycle; amounting to almost 3 months of missed education and social interactions.
Why do we need the monetary assistance? We need help buying boxes, bags, knickers, getting our info printed and some more bits and bobs.
