Story

The Red Box Project supports young women in the community by providing them with free menstrual sanitary products. Many young women in this community miss out on their education because they do not have the correct supplies to ensure their physical well being. Not all young women have access to finances to be able to buy what they need, or social embarrassment prevents them from being able to access supplies. We aim to stop that but we can’t do it alone.

The Red Box Project is reliant on the support of the community, donations of menstrual supplies, underwear packs and money for resources are vital in keeping this project running. We need to be able to help girls of all shapes, sizes and needs, as well as educating them on sustainable options like menstrual cups and cloth pads. Ensuring that the young women can care for themselves properly, which will give them the self-confidence needed to become successful in life.

By getting involved you are making a positive difference to young women in your area. This is important in empowering these young women to be able to achieve and to appreciate their own local community by giving back.

Wales High School are the first school in this area to come on-board and in order to be able to help as many young women as possible we need to get the community working together. This project will not only provide young women, but it will educate both young men and young women about their social responsibility. With the end result being a more respectful and united community.
