I've raised £1500 to fund the groundworks required for the installation of a gas main at Redcar Gymnastics Club

Redcar Gymnastics was founded by Jack Grey in 1966 and has produced regional, national & Olympic gymnasts. It has been a springboard to enjoyment and success for many young gymnasts - including Redcar schoolgirl Lisa Grayson, who became British champion and was team reserve for the Seoul Olympics in 1988.Initially based at Redcar’s Rye Hills School, Coatham Memorial Hall and even, at one stage, in an old terraced house, growing numbers saw it relocate in 1984 to a larger dedicated building. In August 1989, a devastating fire threatened the club’s entire future but through the support of volunteers slowly bounced back. Due to membership numbers exceeding 400 a new premises was found in May 2017 funded by the sale of our previous building, memberships and years of fund raising. Our goal is to give all children the chance to reach their full potential in a safe & friendly environment.
Redcar Gymnastics Club is now desperately seeking your help,
Since the sale of our old gym and the move into our new premises we still have lots of work to do to get the building energy efficient and keep running cost down, Funding has previously come from memberships and savings.
Redcar Gymnastics is in desperate need of a gas supply installing and large space heaters, we are kindly asking if people will help support this much needed upgrade so children can train comfortably and parents can sit and enjoy the viewing area and competitions.
This winter has had a seroius impact on our funds costing the gym over £250 a week trying to keep a acceptable tempreature for training.
So please if you can help please donate, any amount will go a long way and help Redcar Gymnastics Club reach completion.
Thank you all for taking time out of your day to read our plea
