Story
Great news today.
We have saved five of our sand sculptures in Redcar from the threat of demolition. Following public outrage that FRED were being forced to remove them or pay for the enforced work, we are committed in bringing two of the sand artists back to Redcar to do necessary reparations.
Friends of Redcar will fund their work, travel and time but please do support us if you can. If there is any excess we shall put this towards next year's event which is aimed to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War One.
FRED are committed to these and other events to help create Redcar into a viable visitor destination to create footfall and encourage consumer and trader confidence.
