A cancer diagnosis brings a lot of fear. Treatment is brutal with devastating side effects. Families and friends many a time feel helpless, even hopeless.

Redefine Cancer aims to take the conversation to deeper levels.

With advances in science and technology, it is our belief that its about time there was a shift in the narrative.

Using a mind, body, tech approach it is our mission to give every cancer patient the opportunity to have an integrated care package, to process fears, to explore deeper meaning to the uncertainty, to release emotions that can keep one awake throughout the night.

There are many potentially life saving 'breakthrough drugs' entering the market on a regular basis, but many of them are inaccessible with patients resorting to crowdfunding options. We want to support those patients and families who may not have the know how to start such a campaign.

We also want to work with the technology sector to find ways of focusing on prevention as well as spotting early signs.

Mo Haque, through his personal story and turmoil, having been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in December 2014, has lived through the fear. After the NHS could no longer help, and when existing charities were unable to support, together with his friends and family he raised £185,000 for a new treatment.

He know wants to help others going through a similar story.
