Story
Welcome everyone! From Redemption Bridge Team, Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page..
For this project we are currently looking for funding for the conversion of a Leyland Bus to convert it into a Hygiene, Laundrette & Support Services Bus for the Homeless in West Yorkshire, focusing in Bradford and the close surrounding area at the beginning.
We also are looking for building, plumbing, hygiene, kitchen and electrical materials, companies, trade professionals, DIY enthusiasts, decorators, social media PR people, admin people, website designers, graphic designers, interior designers.. Really anyone who would like to lend a hand to help, offer advise and guidance, no matter what it is. Once the bus is operational we will be looking for volunteers to help, provide haircuts, counselling and support to the visitors. We will also be looking to help get people into hostels and employment. Food, clothing and any helpful material donations will be accepted once we have sourced a storage facility for these items.

4 years agoCOVID-19 - Many homeless people have underlying health issues and addictions meaning they are vulnerable and in the corona virus high risk category. Many of them wash in restaurants which are now closing or on reduced hours meaning their hygiene is going to decrease rapidly, so they need our help more than ever! If we can reach our target of £15,000 it means we could have the bus mobile in 2 weeks!
