Red Rock Partnership team is proud to be raising £4,000 for Buddies Dementia Café in Nettleham, Lincoln – our chosen charity partner.
Following the success of our 2025 Snowdon challenge, we’re excited to be aiming even higher this year! On 12th September 2026, our determined team of enthusiastic (and proudly amateur!) hikers will take on the incredible challenge of climbing Ben Nevis.
A group of 19 brave adventurers will be tackling the climb – many of them for the very first time. Over the coming months, the team will be training hard and preparing for the big day, all with one shared goal: raising vital funds for Buddies Dementia Café.
Our fundraising target of £4,000 is double what we raised last year, but we’re confident that with the team’s dedication, the excitement of the challenge, and the importance of the cause, we can smash that goal!
Buddies Dementia Café was founded in 2017 by Lulu Wood, Chris Dawkins and June Gauke, inspired by their personal experiences of caring for someone living with dementia. Caring for someone with dementia often means adapting to a completely new way of life, and Buddies Dementia Café provides a welcoming and supportive space for both people living with dementia and their carers. The group hosts regular local meet-ups featuring live entertainment, music, outdoor activities, helpful information, and a strong sense of community.
