I've raised £3000 to help Gul provide a new portacabin style building at its outdoor riding center at Shrewton for the staff and visitors to keep warm & dry

I am writing to you about a small local Charity, which has transformed the life of my daughter.
Founded in 2006 by a small Christian community church with the aim of transforming the lives of vulnerable people through outdoor activities, God Unlimited Outdoor Therapy (Gul) has now grown to serve over 150, primarily young people aged 8-18 each week from the local area and beyond.
Each month Gul provides over 600 hours of therapy to people of all ages’ faiths and needs. The charity’s principal activity is Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) alongside outdoor learning programmes and physiotherapy from its centre at Riverside, Shrewton, Wiltshire and support for veteran’s mental health at its residential centre, The Bustard, Shrewton Wiltshire. EAT is defined simply as using horses to enable the well-being of individuals to improve. All the Gul staff are passionate about helping people achieve their full potential.
Our daughter first attended Gul in February 2017 when we arranged for Bella to be assessed and then visit for a couple of hours. We have never published or spoken out socially about the difficulties, Bella was injuring on a day to day basis from being bullied, sadly at one point we felt we lost our daughter, she became very withdrawn, quiet and all confidence and trust in others was lost and gave up on all her out of school activities. Bella was diagnosed with high-level anxiety disorder; this had a very big impact on her and at such a young age was devastating for us as parents.
On driving up the long track to Gul the first words Bella said to me were “Mum I think I feel safe here" wow! That brought tears to my eyes as this visit could have gone one of two ways, since the first day attending, Bella has never looked back. After several lessons at Gul Bella started interacting more and finally found her voice again over time with the help of Gul she has been able overcome some of her biggest challenges, if Bella could eat, sleep and drink Gul she would.
Gul would love your support
At this time of year it’s very cold, wet and is dark in the afternoons. All staff and volunteers at Gul love what they do and work there come rain or shine. Gul has just installed a new solar system and has finally been able to provide electricity to the facility but still rely on a small Gas cooker to heat water for cups of tea when it is very cold. We would like to ask for your support to help Gul provide a new portacabin style building at its outdoor center for those that visit the charity, its hard working volunteers and staff.
There are several ways you could help: Perhaps you or your workplace could organize a group volunteer day to help Gul construct their new building, the charity has done this before with companies such as Tesco, Lloyds Bank and The Highways Agency and they have been great fun and helped the charity a lot. You could donate materials the charity can use for its projects, any building materials would be gratefully received or simply by providing donations via the links on Gul’s website or in cash at any of their sites. Whatever help you offer, it will be very much appreciated by all staff and volunteers at Gul and will make a real difference to children and adults like Bella.
If you would like more information, please feel free to contact God Unlimited (GUL) Outdoor Therapy on the details below.
Lastly, I would just like to thank you for taking the time to read over this and we hope that you will be able to join us and support this much needed project
