    Story

It comes with great sadness and a heavy heart to inform you of the passing of our dear friend, Reece Watt.

Reece passed away Saturday 13th January peacefully in his sleep.

Reece had been travelling for the last two years, starting his adventure in Cambodia before moving to Vietnam late last year and recently accepted a job offer to teach English to local children.

With this tragic news, it has now come to light that Reece's travel insurance had expired and with your help, Reece's family can bring him home and give him the send off he deserves.

We have discovered the cost of getting him home is around £10,000 and we need your help to contribute to achieve this and support his family at this difficult time.

Reece was the kindest and most endearing person you could have the pleasure to meet and we will be unable to fill the hole in our hearts he has left.

    God bless you Reece x

Well well well Reecey boy, who would have thought it? We hit your target in just over a week. A true testament to the man we adored. You even made the front page of the echo today u little rascal! I’m sure you were looking down smiling. Thank you to everyone who has donated. His family are so happy for the support especially the messages that they have recieved on this page. Reece is now home in the UK and at rest with his family. We now await the formalities that follow his arrival back home and soon hope to celebrate his life he has lived.

Thank you to everybody for your love and support. We are at 60% of the target within just 24 hours! The family is absolutely overwhelmed and cannot be more thankful. To know that he made such a big impression on people is so comforting for them and I’m sure he is looking down on us now with a big smile on face. We love you Reece. I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Reece. I knew him from when he worked at Rochford Hospital and was struck by his kindness, empathy and dignity. A truly lovely person.

I did not know Reece or his family but my heart goes out to them. I lost my much loved son Si ,in similar circumstances, 7 years ago and reading about Reece I believe they would be kindred spirits.
