The so called "refugee crisis" which started in 2015 with millions of Syrians fleeing their country, is still a reality. War, famine, oppressive regimes, violence, are continuing to force thousands of people to flee their homes and seek refuge.

Lesvos continues to be at the epicentre of this humanitarian crisis and the temporary refugee camp built in 2021 - after the infamous Moria camp burned down- is starting to get over-crowded.

Earth Medicine is one of the few organisations allowed to offer support to refugees and asylum seekers within this camp. They provide holistic treatments to help alleviate the variety of pain and mobility complaints and other health issues that many of the inhabitants of the camp experience.

I have been to Lesvos five times, offering acupuncture treatments which have proven a great success at reducing pain and other symptoms and improving the quality of life of many people during the very stressful and difficult time they are going through.

I am planning on going for 3-4 weeks next February to offer as many treatments as I can and contribute to the wonderful work being done by this amazing organisation.

Please help me get there. One day it could be us or our loved ones in need of refuge, let's plant the seeds of love and solidarity now and help those most in need.
