Story
Watford & Three Rivers Refugee Partnership (WTRRP) has been providing vital practical and emotional support, advice and befriending to refugees and asylum seekers living in the Watford and Three Rivers area since 2011.
Run almost entirely by volunteers, the charity supports an ever-growing number of individuals and families on their journey to a safe, secure, and settled life in the UK.
But as the cost of living crisis rages, we’re running out of vital funds to provide one of our key services – food vouchers. Hundreds of people rely on these food vouchers to ensure they and their children have enough to eat. We desperately want to continue offering this support – and we need your help.
Anything at all you can give will make a huge difference. Thank you for reading.
We were introduced to Watford and Three Rivers Refugee Partnership in November 2017. Since that time, we have received immense support from the charity. From providing food and food vouchers to providing moral support. The charity helped us to integrate in the community with invitations for get together events. We have always felt loved, and we appreciate everything...Being a refugee is one of the hardest things that someone can go through, but the situation feels better with a caring, loving community that makes you feel safe and loved."
