We are raising money for the Refugee Resilience Collective. Sara volunteers for this charity. They are are a team of experienced therapists. Two members of the team are in Calais every Friday. They work with refugees, staff and volunteers to enhance their resilience, their coping strategies and their skills.

We are developing ways to meet the complex needs of refugees who have fled terrifying contexts, often experienced traumatic journeys, and are living in terrible circumstances, while hoping to make a transition to a safe home.

All team members offer their time for free. However, we urgently need to raise money to cover fares to Calais and to pay interpreters without whom we are very hampered in our communication with refugees who only speak their languages of origin or struggle in English to express themselves.
