I've raised £1200 to Help raise money to get a Defibrillator installed at Chellaston Fields Primary School open to use to everybody that may need it.

After different emergencies arising in the media about people suffering cardiac arrests, i feel it is essential to have a defibrillator close by incase of an emergency.
In order for the patient to have the best chance of surviving an out of hospital cardiac arrest, CPR and early defibrillation must be provided within the first 3-4 minutes of the cardiac arrest, followed by advanced life support within the first 8 minutes of the arrest.
Having a defib installed may give somebody a better chance of survival. The defib will be open to use for everybody on the estate of regents place, chellaston fields school, aldi or any other shops that may need to use it if an emergency were to happen.
The money raised will go to buying a new Defib, a coded box & maintenance which the school will look after.
I am going to be running 100 miles in 20 days, the school are going to help support in holding raffles also some of the pupils may want to hold their own fundraising with their own ideas which will all go to funding a new defibrillator.
