Story

At the beginning of March, after what seemed to be a simple trip to the doctors for some bruising we were sent straight to the hospital and told that our baby boy's Bone Marrow had stopped working and he may have Leukaemia. After the most horrendous week of waiting for test results, two blood transfusions, two operations and lots and lots of needles we got a diagnosis. He has a very rare but severe blood disorder called Aplastic Anaemia. Whilst we still have a long road ahead with treatment and hospital visits we are thankful our superhero Reggie appears to be on the road to recovery and we couldnt be happier but it has had a huge impact on our lives and we have had to rely on family and friends and charities and organisations to help us through financially and in many other ways. You never really think of the various charities or organisations who are so willing to help until you are in a position such as ours and I can honestly say we couldn't have coped without them. Their selflessness cannot be measured! Now, what we'd really like to do is start giving back. We will be arranging some fundraising events as soon as our lives slow down but in the meantime if you'd like to help then please do. You never know when you might find yourself in the same position. ♥️
