Story
In 2022, Reloved opened their Free Uniform Shop in a small room at the Belle Vue Centre, Hartlepool offering a modest selection of uniforms, free for anyone in need.
Fast forward to 2024...
ReLoved have moved into bigger premises within Greenbank—four rooms filled to the brim with essential clothing and their newly revamped Uniform Room.
It hasn’t been an easy journey, but every single person they help, every week, makes it all worthwhile. The blood, sweat, and tears are nothing compared to the impact we’re making together.
* 50,000 essential clothing items given out in under two years at Greenbank.
* £1.3 million saved for families, simply through providing free uniforms.
* 30 tonnes of clothing donated by the generous residents of Hartlepool.
* Over £250,000 worth of volunteering hours poured into this effort.
* Hundreds of referrals, each representing a family helped.
But they can’t do this alone. To keep serving families across the Tees Valley, we need your help. We want to ensure this essential service is still here in 2025, but it will only be possible with the support of local businesses and individuals.
We are looking to raise £23,000 to ensure that the service is able to stay within the current premises.
If you can contribute in any way, please reach out. Together, we can continue making a difference for those who need it most. 🙏
