I've raised £550 to help pay for tools for our women's only workshop

All women are welcome at ReMade in our different kind of space where women are people, not problems. . We fix furniture, paint it and make it beautiful, while providing one another with the support we need there and then.
We provide a space for women to express their creativity and explore new ways of thinking about materials and design. This can be a fun and rewarding experience that allows women to develop new skills and discover hidden talents (strengths, not issues!)
Women embrace their personal empowerment and agency, as they learn to take control of their own resources and create something new and valuable out of what might have been discarded.
ReMade provides a safe and supportive environment for women to come together and share their experiences, ideas, and knowledge. This can be a valuable opportunity for peer support and building connections with other women.
ReMade gives women the opportunity to develop their upcycling and design skills, as well as learn new techniques and approaches to upcycling. That might lead to different kinds of work or volunteering, giving them control over their own futures.
Overall, ReMade's women's only creative upcycling workshop offers a unique and valuable experience for women to develop their skills, express their creativity, build community, and promote environmental sustainability. It shouldn't be different, but it really is.
We're looking for funds to buy some new tools! We want to expand on our upholstery by getting a compressor and air tools, as well as some more power sanders for women to use. At the moment we only have one sander, everything else is done by hand. This would speed up our production and improve the experiences for women attending.
