Alex was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind his beloved wife Jessica, two wonderful boys Seb and Leo, his Mum and Dad, Mark and Jill, his brother Curtis, his sister Xenna, and his wonderful family, countless friends, colleagues and members of the football community whose lives he touched.

Alex dedicated his life his family and to football, a game he loved and a community he was proud to be part of. He will be remembered not only for his passion and commitment, but also for his kindness, friendship and the lasting impact he had on so many people.

As we come together to honour Alex’s memory, we wanted to create this page to celebrate his life and provide an opportunity for those who knew him to make a donation in his name.

To honor Alex, the family is in the process of establishing the ALEX MARK HUGHES FOUNDATION. They are currently taking the time to carefully select a heart related charity for the foundation to support, and they deeply appreciate your patience during this important decision. Once the charity is confirmed, all donations will be directed there.
