Nell Jones was a young, popular, vibrant and inspiring girl who attended my son's school (Holmes Chapel High School in Cheshire). On the 22nd May 2017, whilst attending the Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester Arena, her life was tragically taken by an act of terrorism.

In her memory, Nell's family have set up a charitable foundation which aims to:

by continuing to raise funds through events and sponsorship to support local children's charities in the NW of England. Because this tragedy is so close to home and has had a direct effect on our local community, I feel honored and privileged to be able to support such a worthy cause in a small way, by undertaking the 'Chester Cycle Sportive' (80 miles) on the 10th June 2018.
