In Loving Memory of Debbie Ali – Supporting Marie Curie Hospice & Bradford City Football Club Community Foundation

On Tuesday, 28th January 2025, we sadly lost our dear loved one and friend, Debbie Ali. Debbie was a devoted wife to Chris and a loving mum to their daughter, Evalyn and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.

Debbie was very family orientated coming from a large family with six sisters and she was fiercely loyal to them. She also had a very close relationship and was protective of her Mum, and she carried these values into being a Mum herself by providing Evalyn with the experiences she’d never had the chance to have whilst growing up.

Keeping family at her core she volunteered as a Trustee on the Tony Rampton Trust and also as a school governor at Evalyn’s school bringing a different viewpoint to both roles ensuring everybody was considered equally.

Debbie worked for and was a valued colleague at Freemans Grattan Holdings, and her passing is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Debbie’s hard work and commitment will leave a lasting impact, but it was her kindness and warmth that truly made her unforgettable.

Many people have expressed their interest in leaving kind messages and making donations in Debbie’s memory. In response, the family have asked that we raise funds for two causes close to her heart:

• Bradford City Football Club Community Foundation, where Evalyn plays. The charity relies solely on funding to give young girls and boys opportunities to develop their skills and passion for football.

• Marie Curie Hospice in Bradford where Debbie spent her final days. Their compassionate care and support for Debbie and her family made an immeasurable difference during a very difficult time.

All funds raised will be split equally between these two causes. This is a meaningful way to celebrate Debbie’s life and continue her positive impact on others.
