In February 2025 we sadly lost our friend and colleague Jon Partridge. An irreplaceable presence within Billesdon Fire Station, the Fire Protection Team, and the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service as a whole, his passing has left us all with heavy hearts. In his memory, and to raise money for both the Fire Fighters Charity and his son, a number of us will be walking from station to station in full fire kit from October 9th-18th, starting and ending at Billesdon Station.

The route will be as follows:

9th October - Billesdon to Kibworth to Harborough

10th October - Harborough to Lutterworth

11th October - Lutterworth to Hinkley to Market Bosworth

12th October - Market Bosworth to Coalville to Ashby.

13th October - Ashby to Castle Donnington to Shepshed

14th October - Shepshed to Loughborough to Birstall to Western

15th October - Western to Southern to Wigston to Central to Eastern

16th October - Eastern to Melton

17th October - Melton to Oakham to Uppingham

18th October - Uppingham to Billesdon
