The results of the US elections have shocked us all. The full effects have not hit yet but Trump has spoken about filling the empty Supreme Court post with an anti-abortion judge. Soon to be Vice President Mike Pence is quoted as saying "I long for the day that Roe v. Wade is sent to the ash heap of history."

Not only are women having reproductive rights threatened but recent attempts and steps to improve justice for rape and sexual assault victims may be facing backwards steps.

The aim of this fundraiser is for women (and men) in the UK to show their support and solidarity with women in the USA and to ensure that globally women's rights are not taking a step backwards.
