Story
We are completely grounded.
Without a vehicle, we can no longer trap or rescue lost family pets, or transport our sanctuary dogs. We urgently need your help to buy a secure, second-hand rescue van.
The last few months have been an exhausting test of survival for The Max & George Trust.
We survived a brutal 28-day eviction, secured a temporary yard to keep our dogs alive, and have been quietly funding everything out of our own personal pockets because the fear of targeted online harassment paralyzed us from fundraising.
But today, we have hit a critical logistical crisis that impacts our sanctuary dogs and the entire local community. Our rescue van has been taken back.
Why this van is a matter of life and death:
Most of you know us for the sanctuary dogs in our care, but a massive part of our heartbeat is helping the public. When a family pet goes missing, we are the ones who step out with tracking equipment and specialized dog traps to bring them home safely.
Without a vehicle, we are entirely helpless. We cannot transport our large, heavy dog traps, thermal imaging gear, or emergency rescue equipment. If a scared, lost dog is running near a busy road tonight, we physically cannot get the gear to the scene.
Every penny raised will fund:
An Animal & Equipment Transport Van: A reliable, secure second-hand van (such as a Ford Transit or Vauxhall Vivaro) fitted with secure crating.
Lost Dog Rescue Operations: Getting our heavy tracking and trapping gear back into the community instantly.
Emergency Vet Runs: Ensuring our resident sanctuary dogs can reach emergency clinics without delay.
For months, we have carried the crushing financial weight of this rescue alone in silence to shield it from negativity. Today, we are stepping out of the shadows and asking our community to lift us up.
Thank you for standing by our side through the storm. Please donate if you can, share our link, and help us get our life-saving equipment back on the road. 🐾❤️
