I've raised £1500 to unite 3 abandoned Kittens with a serious genetic disorder from Crete with their new family in Scotland.

In October I spent a holiday with my little daughter Ailsa on beautiful Crete. What was supposed to be a relaxing rest from reality however sadly turned into a very sad and distubring experience when we saw how animals are treated on this island.
Being concerned the entire time, we made a horrible discovery on our very last days- three 3 months old Kitten had been dumped in a part of the garden of the Hotel we were staying in. They were in a good shape we thought, until we looked closer! One of them had no rear legs, the other just one and the third one a weird belly shape!
Desparate as we couldnt leave them alone with the winter to come, we contacted an animal rescue group, and fortunately promptly got send Danae Lange, who was equally shocked. She took them to her private house, and we had to return to Scotland.
Taken to the vet in Heraklion and checked thoroughly it turned out as a genetic disorder possibly of over-breeding. The three of them are Arabian Mau and had been judged by their intial owner as useless and dumped to die!!
Deeply touched by this cruel fate of these innocent babies and based on the fact that Danaes Private Shelter was completely full, I decided to take all three of them into my own little family! My daughter can not wait to finally see them, after she has chosen their names Hugo, Henry and -our only girl- Fifi.
Now we are facing the high costs of making them travel ready at the vet (70 LB, per nose) , satisfy UK custom requirements (70 LB) and all travel costs to Scotland (Travel-Crate 80 E, Flight and cat transport 600 E, Ferry 400 E) .
Money left over, if any, will be used to pay for walking aid for little Henry, who will see a specialist in Scotland as soon as he is settled in.
PLEASE help us raising this money! Even the smallest amount helps!!
