Story

Where is the connection in a community now, other than in a bar or a pub (where people barely dare look up and smile or say “Hello!” to anyone, other than the immediate group they came to

How can local people connect to one another (escape from their troubles) without the need for alcohol, physical exercise or a hefty cash transaction?

Other than expensive professionals or the abyss of the internet, where can we turn to for advice now, for mentorship, to philosophise and to learn the tools which can help us overcome our barriers, fears and enable us to live happier, more balanced lives, one day at a time?

Just think how good it would feel to be part of a project like this!

One of which the soul aim is to put the UNITY back into community, by firstly pulling together to successfully restore a High Street eye sore, transforming itinto a beacon of fresh hope and compassion.

Once restored, the currently disused Green Man public house (which has the added benefit of outdoor space and plenty of off street parking) will house an ultra high-end finished, but inclusive (i.e: affordable) member’s club dedicated to its patrons’ self-development, mental and physical wellness, and most importanly care and service within the community.

The organisation, to be run as a not-for-profit ‘community interest corporation’ - or CIC - will be done so by former Teachers, who oweing to years of experience in schools feel the curriculum simply DOES NOT (and never will) cover all the bases and tools required to live a harmonious, contented adult life....

That is all down to US... But it can start with YOU!

Please help us to make Potters Bar a more attractive, compassionate place to live... One mind at a time giving whatever you can afford.

Thank you so much in advance, for whatever support you can muster.
