Hello! My name is Reuben Shahidullah and I have been given an amazing opportunity to visit Kenya for a 4 week long expedition where a group of young individuals, just like myself, have the chance to change the lives of many people living in the local community.

A few years ago, my oldest brother had the chance to go to Borneo with Camps International, and having heard all of the incredible experiences and the exciting cultures that he got to visit, I have always wanted to do something similar. So when Camps International gave me the opportunity to travel to Kenya, which I have always wanted to visit, it was a no brainer.

Throughout the expedition, myself and the group will be getting stuck into a number of tasks to help the community, such as: securing jobs for locals to earn money for their family, building schools for all children to earn themselves an education and making sure people have access to clean, safe water. As well as helping communities, I will be able to learn how to scuba dive in open waters, as well as witnessing and protecting the unforgettable wildlife.
