Story

At the age of 10 months old Reuben was diagnosed with a heart condition called Pulmonary Stenosis. This was monitored closely until an operation was required last month. During the procedure surgeons discovered a further issue meaning he will need open heart surgery within the next two months at Bristol childrens hospital. He will continue to need operations up to the age of 16 and will be regularly monitored and operated on by the surgeons in Bristol. As a family we are extremely grateful to the Dolphin ward team for the care they have provided already. Therefore we have decided to give back by raising as much money as we can for the ward. We want to help other families who are going through this experience.
When Reuben was born our planned caesarean didn't go to plan. He was born with breathing difficulties resulting in him being in the special care baby unit at Singleton hospital. Without the amazing effort and care they provided at this early stage in his life we wouldn't have the incredible, happy and full of life little boy we have today. For this reason we have decided to share the money equally raised between both the special care baby unit in Singleton hospital and the childrens cardiology ward known as the dolphin ward in Bristol.

Please share with everyone you feel would like to support us.

Thanks in advance.
