I've raised £250 to fix the dry rot problem in St Mary's church, Droylsden. Any excess will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society.
Organised by Susan Ball
St Mary's church has a problem with dry rot in the community room. It is not covered by insurance so we have to fix it oursleves. Due to the current restrictions, there is very little cash coming in. So I'm walking the equivalent of the distance between York Minster and Canterbury Cathedral. If you can sponsor me, it will make the walk seem easier.
UPDATE The insurance company have agreed to cover some of the cost of the repair, so we need only to find the excess. If I exceed my new target, the extra funds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Society.
