£1,659raised of £5,000 target by 33 supporters

Weʼre raising £5,000 to pay the insurance excess on repairs for damage to 6 stained glass windows at St Mary Oatlands & install CCTV to deter future vandalism

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

St Mary Oatlands has suffered from low level vandalism on a periodic basis. However in the last two weeks we have suffered some heartbreaking damage to six of our stained glass windows (as well as to other windows, garden furniture & floodlights). The church has served the community for over 150 years and has stood through two world wars, with stained glass windows remaining intact- until now.

We would like to repair our windows & install CCTV to deter future mindless acts of vandalism.

Sorry to hear about the mindless vandalism at your church. Good luck with the fund raising.

Good luck with the fundraising. I have a lot of happy memories of St Mary’s in the 1960
