I've raised £250 to help local child Julia attend her disability horse riding lessons in Newport over 25 miles away and for Aberaeron Swimming Pool.

Local children from Aberaeron are taking part in a sponsored swimathon to raise money for their friend Julia to attend her disability horse riding lessons. These lessons are an integeral part of Julia‘s physiotherapy and mental wellbeing. To get to the correct sessions that Julia needs she has to travel over 25 miles each way from Aberaeron to Newport. With the rising costs of fuel this is becoming a very large expense to her parents. We as her friends want her to be able to continue to attend the lessons which benefit her so greatly and recently saw her meeting Princess Anne.
The children are also raising money for Aberaeron Swimming Pool which is a charity run pool for our community. The pool offer lessons and swimming sessions for the local children. Living in a coastal community it is paramount that we maintain this resource in our town.
The money will be split between funding Julia‘s travel expenses and running costs of Aberaeron Swimming Pool.
Between them the children aim to swim 2.5 miles.
Please share our page and donate whatever you can if possible to help these two great causes in our community.
Many Thanks.
