Story

In November 2014, Cameron Grant, a vibrant and caring member of our university community, tragically took his own life aged just 21. Cameron's story reveals how deeply mental health struggles can remain hidden. His family established the Cameron Grant Memorial Trust, dedicated to raising awareness, fighting stigma, and encouraging young people—especially men—to speak openly and seek help. Through distributing millions of personalised mental health signposts like coasters and postcards, and supporting mental health projects, the Trust continues Cameron’s legacy by reminding us all that no one has to face these battles alone.

This year, our fundraising goal is £1,000. We know this target is ambitious, but we truly believe in the strength of our community to make it happen. Every donation directly supports these life-changing initiatives. Please join us in honouring Cameron and supporting mental health.
