RIB Rendezvous Community Appeal

RIB Rendezvous is a not-for-profit boating gathering that brings RIB enthusiasts together to enjoy the spectacular west coast of Scotland.

Thanks to the support of sponsors and private donors, the event has always been free to enter. That matters to us. We want anyone who shares the passion for RIB boating to feel they can come along and be part of it — without cost being a barrier.

However, putting together an event of this scale — now believed to be the world’s largest on-water gathering of RIBs — does involve real organisational and hosting costs behind the scenes.

We are therefore asking skippers and crews to consider making a suggested donation of £20 per person to help support the running of the event. Every contribution is genuinely appreciated and helps keep RIB Rendezvous open and accessible to all.

In addition, we will be holding a charity auction during the Saturday evening gathering, with funds raised also supporting the RNLI.

After event costs are covered, any surplus funds will be donated to the RNLI via Oban Lifeboat, helping support the extraordinary lifesaving work carried out around our coasts.
