We are a group of students from Malaysia under the project of RiceForLife and we are volunteering to go to Maahad Muslim Wangthong Wittaya, which is at Kg. Klongkhamao, Krabi, Thailand. Our charity project is to help the people in needs by repairing their old dormitory into a better place for them to stay. Our adviser visited the place and it is really heartbreaking because they does not have good facilities. Most of their dormitories are already old and broken. Besides, we are aware of the struggle of the people in the poorer village in Southern Thailand, it is in our greatest desire to ease their burden as they struggle even for food in their everyday life.

Our group will build 4 new dormitories to replace the destroyed one. They are very poor and could not have enough money to have conducive dormitories. We called this as dormitory because most of them are students and live there. By helping them, we can actually close the gap between the community and can help them to have a better surrounding to get education.

Before this, we already did a few business and merchandise to raise our funds for this big project. However, we still could not get enough money to reach our target.

Some of the donation will also be used for our transportation,accommodation and buying stuff to give to the needy people there such as rice and daily needs.

This project will be conducted on 10th - 15th of December 2017.
