At the beginning of June 2017 Richard Bean tragically died in a bike accident, near to his home in Preston. Richard was just 39 years old. He was a devoted family man and leaves behind his wife Donna and 5 young children.
I got to know Donna as sadly she had to rehome her beautiful dog as she could no longer give him the time he needed. I helped her to find a wonderful new home for him. During the time I spoke to Donna it was clear that the loss of her husband was going to have a horrendous impact on hers and her children's life. She really wants a headstone for Richard in order that the family have somewhere quiet to go to sit with him in remembrance. Any additional funds would go to assist with helping the children get through the coming months. Wouldn't it be great if she could give them a weekend away.
