Story
The Dwarf Sports Association is very close to my heart as my son Rico has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. We first attended the Dwarf Sports Association annual games in 2016 when Rico was just 2 years old and have been attending ever since.
I have really seen how important it is both mentally and physically for Rico and other people of restricted growth to be able to get together and compete in sports with other competitors who are on a similar level.

In addition to this I will be donating half of the proceeds to Great Ormond Street Hospital. This charity means a lot to me and lies very close to my heart for a number of reasons. When Rico was just 18 months old, he underwent decompression surgery for Spinal Stenosis and the care he received was above and beyond.
"Every day, around 600 children and young people from across the UK arrive at GOSH. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference."
This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential. A better future for seriously ill children starts here.

To help support the continuation of the DSA and support GOSH, myself and a couple of friends would like raise money by taking part in a 15k muddy obstacle course called Tough Mudder on the 21st May 2022. This will involve swimming through icy water, running through miles of thick mud, 10000 volts of electricity and many more endurance testing obstacles.
Wish us luck!!
