I've raised £2000 to Take my ill wife on a last, short cruise holiday. She has Cortico Basal Degeneration, a terminal neurological illness and is disabled.

I never thought I would be writing this letter. I had a successful career and my wife and I enjoyed good health. Then I lost my job and my pension and savings were mismanaged by a broker that we trusted. Now we live on the generosity of a UK state pension and what little our son can afford to help us. We are both 68 and about two a half years ago we were informed by a specialist that Lyn had a rare neurological illness that has a life expectancy of 5 to 7 years.
Already Lyn has lost the use of her right hand and arm and is losing her right leg and left arn to the disease.I am now her full time carer and have had to give up what work I could find as a pensioner. We have help with the rent and get by on my state pension of £ 600 per month. The illness is both debilitating and mentally taxing. I want to have one last holiday with my wife before it becomes impossible. As she is wheelchair bound, a ship cruise is the best option. We would like to go in September 2018, but we shall not be able to do this without help.
PLEASE HELP US. THANK YOU
