As many of you know I have been playing cricket for Sandhurst CC for the last 24 years. In December 2022 we suffered massive damage to our club house via a burst water pipe. As a club we are having to cover all the costs of repairing the damage. As anyone who is part of a team, club or society knows team mates become friends and eventually they feel like a second family and club houses a second home. So starting on Sunday 27th Aug I will be attempting to run a mile an hour on the hour for 24 hours. It will consist of one mile loops starting and finishing at Sandhurst Cricket club, which will include running miles through the night. This will not just be a physical challenge but also the mental chalenge of keeping going through the night and not falling asleep! But prehaps the biggests and those who know me is managing the pace of the miles and remembering no matter how good feel in first couple of miles to not go to quick.
