Story

As most of you know, I took up running when Carolyn was expecting Jack, thinking it would be a change from football and a cheap and easy way to stay fit and a way to make Jack proud of me.

Carolyn is now expecting our second child, and the timing has coincided with me coming to the end of the 6 World Major Marathon's (Abbott Series)

As it is the final marathon in this series, and the timing coincides, it really is a huge milestone and as such I wanted to end my World Major Marathon Journey by giving something back, and doing something useful.

I have decided therefore to raise money, which will go to preventing human trafficking and child sexual exploitation and supporting those affected by it.

Therefore, I'd like to beg, grovel and pester you all for any donations, big or small for this fantastic cause to achieve, whilst pushing me even harder to achieve this goal, and making all the sacrifices my family make along the way worthwhile.

Each marathon I do is a huge commitment, not just for me but for those around me and I really want to end this journey on a high, making it worthwhile for many more people than myself.

We have already paid for my race entry, flights and accommodation so the money raised on here is going directly to the charities involved in this fantastic cause.

Please, please, please give anything you can, any support is much appreciated and will go to a fantastic cause, which can truly make a difference to other people.
