The Poppleton FC Girls u15's are running to Wembley (virtually)!

Throughout August the Poppleton girls u15's squad will be running each day to raise money for new training kit and so we can pay for access to winter training facilities.

The team has been challenged to run (virtually) from Millfield Lane, Poppleton FC to Wembley.

The total distance for the challenge is 311km to be run in August, which is equal to 17.3km each. Which with holidays across August will definitely challenge everyone!

Backstory

The girls started in 2022 at u11's and are going into their 5th season in 26/27. Each year they have improved as a team and the effort and team spirit is fantastic to see.

To support the girls further in their football and fitness please give what you can and we'll get the girls running to Wembley. Updates will be shared here and on Social media, feel free to visit our page for progress updates.
