As you will all know, the first stage of the battle against the endless expansion plans of Hanson and AI was lost. But they have put in 4 Applications to quarry again at Westdown which has 160m tons of proven reserves… This is a MASSIVE INDUSTRIAL PROPOSAL. All material would have to leave by road. And they plan to dump all stripped material in Asham Void.. the area of Asham Wood that should NEVER have been quarried. This is a BIG DEAL.
