Story

I am planning on doing the Cardiff Half Marathon ( first ever one) on Sunday 1st October 2017 to help raise money for Matts parents to put towards a mobility vehicle.

Some of you will know that Matthew (Doofy) got attacked 2 years ago and was left for dead and is now hospitalised. He started out at Heath Hospital then made his way to Rookward Hospital nearly a year after.

Unfortunately Matt cannot walk or speak and needs 24hr care which he is getting but is still making progress as he can react to his family and friends with hand gestures. over the last few months he's been allowed to go out for a few hours so he has been able to go home and be in his own surroundings with the use of the hospital vehicle. His parents would love to have the flexibility of being able to take Matt out when they want so they really need to have their own vehicle for Matt. This will take time but every penny you can spare will help this happen.

Doofy has been one of my best friends for 25 years and I want to help him and his family in anyway I possibly can.

Look out for me on the 1st October and thanks for what donations you are able to give.

Thanks
