B-Bairns is a local breakdancing crew that was founded in 2012. The initial focus was in gathering and educating a small number of children and their parents in Hip Hop Culture.
B-Bairns uses Hip Hop - Breaking Element - as a medium to assist the children in the development of their confidence and self-esteem. It introduces children to a positive social environment with positive people. The Children are empowered to develop their ability in discovering their own identity by having the confidence to 'BE' and 'EXPRESS' themselves.

As a parent, the dance allows us to forget the stresses of daily life, it allows adults a sense of freedom to rediscover the inner child, the creative, non-judgmental, fun adult and fosters a connection with your child by dancing with them.

It also gives the opportunity for parents to show their child the adult side...the caring, nurturing, protective side which is essential for your child's development, wellbeing and knowledge that they are safe.

Over the years a number of top level B-Boys and B-Girls have travelled to Dundee to share their knowledge to assist children and parents with their development, and in certain circumstances, created similar groups in their local communities. .

As we are approaching our 5 year anniversary, as a crew, feel that it would be a fantastic initiative to give something back to the UK Breaking community for their support, encouragement and acknowledgement of our group. Our intention would be to host a 2 day, non-profit making, break dancing event in Dundee, which would be open nationwide to all crews and age groups .

Please help us achieve our goal by donating as much or as little as you can spare . Its going to be a ground breaking event with a great community feel
