Story

A growing number of children have no access to books at home. This situation is compounded by the rising cost of living. Reading is the key to all learning and love of reading is the key to love of learning. If children can't read at home, this, and many other opportunities, are instantly denied them.

Reading at home is a vital part of children's development. We are looking to enable this though engagement with reading charities who will provide the books at a reduced cost.

Although I have run for many years, I have never completed a marathon. I have entered the Manchester Marathon on the 16th April this year. This is a personal goal, however, I would like it to be of benefit to the children in most need at our school.
