I am taking on a charity walk with the goal of raising £1,000 to support neurodivergent children and help spread awareness, understanding, and acceptance of autism and other neurodiverse conditions.

The funds raised will be split between W.A.N.D (We Are Neuro Diverse) and Canolfan Iago STF Provision at Ysgol Bryn Iago.

This cause means the world to me and is incredibly close to my heart. My beautiful daughter is Autistic, and every day she shows me what true strength, resilience, and determination look like. While Autism can bring unique challenges, it is also a part of what makes her the incredible person she is.

As a parent, I have seen firsthand how important acceptance, support, and understanding are for neurodivergent children and their families. Too many still face barriers, misunderstandings, and limited access to the support they need. Through raising funds and awareness, I hope to make a positive difference and help create a world where every child feels valued, included, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential.

This charity walk is more than just a challenge—it is a chance to stand up for children like my daughter and others and to celebrate the strengths, talents, and individuality of every neurodivergent child. On Saturday July 18th we will be walking from Hendy to Brecon and climbing Penyfan. We estimate this will take us approximately 20-24 hours.

💛 W.A.N.D ( We Are Neuro Diverse ) is a local charity and support group that provides inclusive events, sensory-friendly activities, and invaluable support for neurodivergent children and their families. They have been a huge source of support for our family during some of our most challenging and difficult times.

❤️ Canolfan Iago STF Provision at Ysgol Bryn Iago has been incredible in supporting my daughter and understanding her individual needs. Their dedication and commitment help children develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.

Funds raised will help provide resources, opportunities, and experiences that enable children to thrive and reach their full potential.
