Story

Starcross youth theatre is a non profit theatre group for children up to the age of 18. It is run by a group of volunteers, who give up a lot of their time to coach all members in all aspects of musical theatre, drama and singing. Each show cost in the region of £12000 to put on which is raised by membership fees, ticket sales and other fund raising activities which include raffles, leg waxing and bag packing. The members also perform smaller performances to raise funds to keep the group going. My son has been a member for 6 years now and I have seen him grow in confidence through performing on stage, as have all the children in the group. A lot of parents give up their spare time as well to fund raise or just to help out with other things like hosting race nights, baking for cake sales or just donating raffle prizes. With out this vital fund raising the group could no longer exist. In our local community after school activities are very limited so groups like Starcross youth theatre are vital for the children and young adults. Please Please help this vital group keep going by donating, every penny raised goes directly to Star cross youth theatre which in turn goes to the kids.
