    Story

My daughter has dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia. However the local education department were not meeting her educational needs. To enable my daughter to get into a special school we had to take them to tribunal. This is where the solicitor gets involved. However the day before the tribunal they decided that my daughter could go to the school she needed to... so a happy ending! But this has left me with the debt of all the fees for the solicitor and various expert reports. I am asking for help to pay off this debt as I am struggling, really struggling. I have good job as a nurse in the NHS. My local MP contacted the education department on my behalf but was unsuccessful.

As one who's walked the tribunal path I can sympathise. It's so hard when local government works to deny support rather than helping children with additional needs. Best of luck. xx
