Weʼve raised £0 to IGA Nephropathy as very little is known about it.

    Story

IgA nephropathy, also known as Berger's disease, is a kidney disease that occurs when an antibody called immunoglobulin A (IgA) lodges in your kidneys. This results in local inflammation that, over time, may hamper your kidneys' ability to filter wastes from your blood.
There is very little research compared to all other kidney disease. There is very little known about all possible side effects that is not documented. I received different information from different consultants/hospitals.
There is only 1 tablet for this illness.. to my knowledge and if your body does not tolerate it then it won't slow down the illness.
I can't tolerate high doses so deterioration is at a faster rate for me.
I want to raise money solely for IgA nephropathy research and more options of treatment.
    Thank you for your support.

        IGA Nephropathy - Richard

I have IGA nephropathy and was diagnosed in 2011. I have double renal failure and I am stage 4. I have been told I have had this for years but was not detected. My blood pressure has to be kept stable.
